Fidge first picked up the guitar when he was 6
and began playing in bands at age 15 and has played everything from the 70's to
today's ROCK hits.
After playing in numerous bands through the 70's and 80's he took time away from
playing on stage for about 12 years. In 1994 he helped form "Minimum
Balance" which had a 5 year run in the Wash, DC area.
After taking a few years off from the stage due to other commitments even though
he was running sound for other bands the itch to be back on stage started again.
He hooked up with Gary Fuller in September 2000 and they formed Slider.
Slider had tremendous success and built up a great following throughout the 10
year run the band had in the area. Due to wants, dreams, desires, or
whatever you want to call it, Slider came to an amicable end in August 2010.
Well the itch to play was still there so he decided to put together the best
players he could find. It didn't take long to get the ingredients for a
Hard Rockin' band that will have you dancing all night.
So Greg is now one of the 6 string slingers in Wyldesound. He's ready for
you all to take a journey back into time and a walk down memory lane. He
will also guarantee the band will make you move until you can't move anymore.
Come up and say hey when you come to a show because he doesn't know any strangers!!!
Greg plays Peavey Amps, Raven West, Fender, Gibson and Peavey guitars and calls
Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, James Hetfield of Metallica as well as Malcolm Young of AC/DC as
3 of his biggest influences. |
