S.T.P. - 6 String Fiddle/Vocals

Growing up as a kid in Western Samoa in the South Pacific, Semisi learned to love music early on, even though there weren’t that many different kinds of music back then. As a matter of fact, there was only one radio station in the whole country. But he learned to love Rock & Roll music when he came here to the States at age 17. He did not really learn how to play guitar until that time when he was in the U.S. Army.

The first band that he was in was called Holland back in the late 70’s early 80’s. That band won the first Battle of the Bands at Louis Rock City as one of the best places to play back in the day. After that, he joined a very successful band called Ground Star back in the 80’s. They had a good run for a very long time until the late 90’s but sad to say, he left that band to do a Jimi Hendrix tribute for a few years. That was fun doing that for a while but the time came to move on.

He then took a break from playing music with bands and did some recording but that got old too and it was once again time to play on stage again. He then hooked up with Jeff Watson and Downtown. Downtown played a lot of different music and that band too was a blast but that's what its all about.

After that, he joined another local band called Mr. E for a few years and that was also a very good time. Then came my recent and current band called Switched At Birth that is still doing shows today. That’s a great band in itself.  Awesome musicians and best of all, great friends.

Today, Semisi is going to be tearing up the stage with Wyldesound joining up with Fidge as one of two guitar players and is ready to get out there and play some kickin' Rock n Roll.

Come up and say hello when you're at a show!!
